- Leading all operational aspects of complex fleet (including HGVs) for high profile customers A specialist in LCV and HGV fleet and operations management, holding senior stakeholder conversations internally and externally. Accountable for all aspects of in-life operations, solving challenging customer requirements with agility and confidence.
- Leading from the front to build and enhance maximum customer confidence through owning and delivering operational excellence across all spectrums, including establishment of new customer requirements, best practice operations (via specialist skill set) and directing and facilitating workload to the wider operations team.
- Robust management of key suppliers in network, conversions and deployments within the wider operations department and influences others to ensure the efficient and customer focused operation of that area

Core Role
- To lead a disparate team and stakeholder across all operations tasks including maintenance, projects and all in life vehicle requirements, whilst ensuring stakeholder confidence is in place, strong ability to remain agile and committed to delivering changeable customer requirements at pace.
- Specialist and in-depth LCV and HGV knowledge to manage suppliers, ensure successful and suitable operational knowledge and ownership are embedded.
- Building trust and confidence across Operations, procurement, LeasePlan international central teams and UK commercial teams.
- Subject Matter expert for HGV Operations directorate and propositions within the business, up to date with operations needs of complex customer contracts and product knowledge.
- Designing and leading a platform to enhance visibility for in life services, providing detailed solutions for next generation system and process management.

Relationship Management
- Lead the onboarding and ongoing process and checks with suppliers and any 3rd party associated service providers.
- Support wider commercial teams with new opportunities where operational management and leadership is required
- Ensuring regular communication with Commercial, Operations and CS&Q in relation to client specific requirements.
- Be the main operations point of contact for complex LCV-HGV fleet customers with relevant and in- depth knowledge.

Financial Control
- Identify and influence network and RMT costs with cost reduction plans shared.
- Ensuring CV, CS&Q and Account Management teams are responding to issues relating to deployment, supply management and fleet related issues.
- Support commercial teams to manage HGV propositions and drive revenue.

Reporting & Systems (including Service Level Agreements - ‘SLAs’)
- Manage all activity through a supplier system (or equivalent), setting and maintaining clear milestones, actions and accountability
- In depth planning and accurate forecasting, including documentation is shared and up to date.
- Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) linked to operational management.
- Maintenance of full accurate customer records in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Delivering Great Service
- Arrange regular update meetings with suppliers and clients to track progress of fleet operations, specifically RMT.
- Continuous supplier management
- Keep abreast of fleet market conditions and specific industry changes.
