Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing strategies for the UK & Irish Industrial Business to support profit & sales volume objectives. To lead the marketing focus at business units meets and support the salesteam and sales processes for the business unit. Plan and manage new product launches as required. Provide sales support to ensure salesteam equipped with necessary tools & information for their customers. To oversee operational issues and ensure agree standards are consistently achieved & processes automated where possible. To be a generator and driver of new concepts & ideas within the business unit . To regularly review the market to identify trends and ensure business unit is ready to take advantage of changes.

Position Title: Industrial Product Manager

Principal Accountabilities

• To clearly understand the UK & Irish markets, changes and trends happening & put forward proposals and ideas for salesteam to develop new business.
• To be an engine room for new ideas and concepts within the business units and to regularly challenge and test to status quo.
• To co-ordinate with other depts to ensure business unit is understood and to gain support where necessary.
• To manage and control all the sales support processes and ensure all service standards performance levels are achieved
• Support the salesteam (and ultimately our customers) by providing all market relevant data ranging from product information to presentation material (hard copy and electronic)
• In conjunction with the sales team, ensure all relevant market information, account specific promotional activity and new product launch information is prepared and presented in an accurate and professional manner.
• To develop and launch promotions for both the sales and tyre sales teams, to follow and progress these to ensure results achieved.
• To identify, develop and communicate brand strategies for each product group which will maximise profit & volume opportunities

• To put together an annual communication plan in line with brand strategy.
• To drive the communication of all new product & service developments to meet the demands of the UK & Irish markets by continuously monitoring the market and communication of this information back to Hannover.
• Be an ambassador for our business benefit package ‘Whole Life Cost’ and provide all relevant materials to the salesteam to ensure they are fully equipped to discuss the concept with end-users
• To plan, co-ordinate and control regular direct marketing campaigns to get end-user leads for the salesteam
• To support the pricing department by ensuring correct product information on the price list and by gathering competitor information where possible.
• To support the Communications Manager to put in place an effective annual PR plan
• To support Supply Chain with the forecast process to ensure the correct stock arrives in a timely manner to achieve company results.
• To drive the annual planning and business management cycle for ids co-ordinating with Mkg Mgr, GSM Ids, Pricing, Finance, Logistics & sales depts.
• To work with controlling to regularly review CMC by customer and ensure this information is passed to the relevant person to act upon.
• To assist the Mkg Mgr & GSM Ids identify and action training requirements for staff to allow relevant employees to handle industrial products & assist in delivery as required.
• To measure and maximise the performance of each product group by volume, price, profit and channel and to identify and implement corrective actions and strategies to ensure company objectives are met.
• All other activities that will assist  achieve its ids profit & volume objectives as deemed necessary by line manager.
