The Role
Our client seeks to appoint an Assistant Brand Manager to join the UK Marketing Team and help to fully exploit the considerable growth that is now being achieved. This position requires first-rate project management and communication skills, commercial awareness, financial acumen with well-developed numeric skills and the desire to play a major contributory role in a small but highly effective cosmetics business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities in this role will be to provide support to the rest of the Marketing team with the implementation of the rolling brand plan. The candidate will be directly reporting to a Senior Brand Manager and supported by the UK Marketing Manager.


Launches and Promotions
• Be responsible for all launches and promotions related to the specific category (defining the potential of the product, recommending the theme and load up of the promotion related to the launch, forecasting the launch)
• Work with appointed agencies to brief, develop and oversee production of promotional display material
• Project manage to deadlines and within budgets
• Ensure integrity of Brand Image when working with all external suppliers
• Issue sales plan


Promotional Process & Planning:
• Create, issue and update key promotional internal planning documents
=> Accuracy is key
• Trouble shoot all issues relating to these documents
• Organise, Chair & Minute planning update meetings
• Ensure clear and timely communication of decisions and changes where necessary
• Own the process, developing and improving where appropriate


Products expertise
„X Manage one category of the Brand (Eyes, Lips, Face or Nails) : become the expert of this category in order to recommend and implement specific actions to develop the business
„X Analyse the competitor environment
„X Analyse each launch


Commercial
• Build knowledge and expertise of retail partners
• Support National Accounts team in developing and implementing retailer specific strategy to drive the business
• Manage all additional POS related to the retailers marketing plans


Brand Strategy
• Participate to global projects :
o Marketing plan
o Business review
o Quarterly market analysis
