Strategic New Business Development Manager

Circa £45,000 - £55,000 plus commission

An exciting opportunity focussed on new 'corporate' business based in the UK however working alongside other territories worldwide either directly, through communication with  SA and or the wider Partner network.

Key Purpose

  • Support  International & Countries in their quest for winning and growing strategic and 'large' new business accounts, resulting in fleet growth within the business. 
  • Regular communication with countries, prospective companies and internal staff is essential to ensure a smooth transition of tasks. 
  • A creative and well organised approach with a particular focus on 'Customer Excellence'

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Regular communication of opportunities, wins, account profitability, implementation timescales and go live date. 
  • Respond & manage International & UK tenders. 
  • Plan & organise own and others diaries to ensure the prospects needs are met. Researching and planning prior to prospect meetings. 
  • Attend all Prospect meetings as required both internally & externally. 
  • Structured approach to the numerous administration tasks received from countries, SA and internal colleagues. 
  • Produce monthly activity reports, catch up document and SalesForce Dashboards. 
  • Ensure that Procedure Manuals and PAF’s are meaningful & accurate. 
  • Analyse & check quality of work and data prior to submission to the Prospect 
  • Use of SalesForce, 360, and ProFleet

  • Ensure compliance with approved company, statutory and regulatory policies/procedures.

Essential Criteria
Considering the nature of this role and the target audience, we are seeking an individual who can demonstrate a strategic approach with experience of managing clients with fleets of 400 + vehicles. Someone who can manage the complex nature of such a fleet and structure solutions that fit the clients requirements. You will be innovative and have a wealth of knowledge in this specific area with your CV clearly illustrating such experience and highlighting the following; 

  • Experience of generating ‘New’ Business from large corporates 
  • Proven experience in solution/consultancy based selling
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Experience of B2B sales, highlighting wins & successes
  • A visionary approach to meeting a clients’ requirements
