Senior Account Development Manager – South, with National Travel (Subject to Covid-19 restrictions)

 

12 month fixed term contract (Maternity cover) – with a potential to be made permanent

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Covering Accounts Nationwide
  • Day to Day Management of 2-3 Account Development Managers
  • Day to Day Account Management of some of the strategic accounts
  • Provide support, best practice and guidance for the ADM community
  • Regular documented 1-2-1’s and formal performance reviews.
  • Communicate, manage and track ADM role objectives.
  • Support with strategic account development and growth plans
  • Support with new business and implementations to ensure best possible launch success.
  • Identify and manage opportunities within existing customers to drive marketing visibility, process improvements, order take and revenue management.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial profitable business plans for business, partners and clients
  • Work proactively in partnership with the Marketing team to develop and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain relationships between regional EBP (employee benefit providers) reps and  Relationship Manager team to safeguard and cultivate key relationships and build Tusker’s customer base
  • Encourage and lead collaboration between stakeholders
  • Provide a strategic and practical resolutions to the customer’s requirements and needs
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Account Implementation teams to help obtain new business to ensure the smooth transition from prospect to customer
  • Attend regular Sales Meetings, provide updates and present strategy
  • Attend supplier account Sales Meetings to present and review products
  • Attending partner customer events
  • Working with all levels and areas of the business but predominately with Marketing, Customer Service, Implementation and the Sales Team
  • To achieve and exceed the set budgeted targets
  • Issue management and resolution
  • Annual scheme reviews with the customer, either at their offices or at company HO
  • Propose advisory changes of scheme structure to the customer where necessary and then see those changes through to completion
  • Management of Scheme Awareness Plans for all allocated customers
  • Customer Management Information reporting
  • Monthly telephone health checks with all allocated accounts
  • Quoting where necessary and follow up
  • Documentation of customer contacts and agreements

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

  • Established history or rapport building and relationship management at a strategic level
  • A proven track record of on target achievement
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with Public Sector, large SME and blue chip organisations
  • A high level of IT literacy; with a robust knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and online systems
  • Excellent communication skills; commercially and financially astute
  • Tenacity to see multiple tasks through to successful completion at any given time
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and demanding targets
  • Strong attention to detail with an excellent customer service ethos
  • Personal presence and credibility; demonstrating enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • A knowledge of the UK benefits industry
  • Proficient knowledge of current UK Tax and NI rules and legislation
  • Understanding of company car policies and procedures and to be able to explain these at a driver and fleet manager level
  • Full UK driving licence
