Main Purpose of Role
 

  • Responsible for building profitable corporate business by executing effective sales and marketing strategies

 

  • Ensure that the brands and product and service offering is sold at the highest level and Group UK well represented, whilst having a clear understanding of the marketplace and its requirements
     
  • To have an effective coordinated approach with the Marketing Department and Business support to ensure all material is of the best quality to take to market

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Achieving and monitoring against clear targets set in order to grow corporate  markets profitably

 

  • Development of new business, as the product expands globally, to ensure sales targets are exceeded
     
  • Responsible for revenue and achievements from all corporate business through segmentation project set by company

 

  • Work closely with financial planning for the clear preparation of pricing for all channels, which exceeds  UK Group revenue and contribution requirements 

 

  • Monitoring the marketplace to ensure pricing and products remain ahead of the competition

 

  • Set clear sales goals in conjunction with the company’s strategy and plan work with all departments to ensure your sales strategies are fully supported

 

  • Ensure weekly calls are maximised to increase productivity to have a winning ethos to achieve new business wins

 

  • Ensure SalesPoint and any sales tools are completely up to date and are fed back through clear concise reporting

 

  • Ensure all reports are on time for managed reporting to be delivered to senior personnel

 

  • Work closely with team to ensure any new business opportunities are managed effectively so as not to miss any new business wins
     

 

 

  • Liaise regularly with ECI to ensure any Global deals have a combined approach for the UK

 

  • Ensure Sales Support are completely updated with calendar and are given clear instructions on what is required
     
  • Close liaison with all departments within company, marketing, reservations, customer relations, accounts, legal department, revenue management, financial planning, operations
     
  • External contacts are kept up to date to ensure all is recorded and they are fully aware of the growth income

 

Budget Responsibilities
 

§Ensure forecasting is accounted for and reported back accurately
 

  • Ensure any sales expenses are controlled to the company policy
     
  • Ensure targets set; revenue and contribution are exceeded in line with company plan

 

Skills Required
 

  • The drive and focus to meet and exceed revenue and contribution plans
     
  • An excellent understanding of the UK car rental marketplace, with full understanding of competitor activity
     
  • Self-motivation, passion and a clear desire to succeed
     
  • Excellent communication skills both internal and external
     
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills to achieve and exceed revenue budgets and improve contribution
