National Corporate Manager

£40,000 plus £10,000 bonus

The National Corporate Manager will have the responsibility for the sales development of fleet business for Contract Hire. The role will have the objectives of creating new opportunities and nurturing multiple relationships across any given company and the development of our customer portfolio.

 

 

  • PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  1. Develop the Contract Hire business, working closely with the  Fleet and other stakeholders within the brands. Support the Head of Sales in the development and implementation of acquisition strategies for the Contract Hire business.
  2. To identify manufacturer and  dealers with potential activity for CH business and promote  financial solutions.
  3. To identify and visit prospects for Contract Hire opportunities and convert to customers.
  4. The role may, in addition, take on certain responsibilities related to particular development projects as delegated from time to time by Head of Sales.
  5. To work closely with  Zone Manager and the Fleet Marketing Team to ensure that development activities complement and coordinate with on-going marketing, sales and account management activities
  6. To work closely with Sales support Team to maximise business and identified potential deals.
  7. To identify new markets and in conjunction with Head of Sales develop a strategy to ensure growth in profitability and volume for Contract Hire & Fleet business.
  8. The National Corporate Manager will participate in national and local events for the opportunity to create contacts with prospects.
  9. To actively participate in departmental meetings, and keep management updated with performance on a regular basis with KPI and actions plan.

 

  1. To take responsibility for compliance activities and to adhere to the FCA and OFT regulations and requirements.

DIMENSIONS / BUDGETS:

 

This is a Field Based role but may be required to spend time in the Head Office (from  time to time) as well as periods away from home. Due to the nature of the role, there is a need for flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changes. 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:

 

A proven ability to drive business growth, through innovative thinking and challenging the status quo. Experience in CH sector is preferable but not mandatory.

Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry, a high level of numeracy, strong attention to detail, organisation and motivation are essential, as is the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects.

A high level of competency in managing a territory effectively, to maximise opportunities and deliver results.

A high level of aptitude in presenting to a diverse customer audience, with supporting evidence of flexibility in adapting styles to suit the varying needs of a corporate customer.

Ability to build relationships, negotiate at board level and influence others to optimise performance.
