OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE

Using the MSP project methodology, to be responsible for the design and delivery of leading edge customer implementation strategies for new and existing Corporate & Public Sector clients and International Client implementations that are led from the UK, in a way that will maximise value for them and for the business.

Role Specific

  • Responsible for ensuring signed prospects and existing clients successfully reach live implementation using a defined project management methodology
  • Responsible for developing the implementation to handover project plan and for establishing project teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Attend prospect presentations to present  implementation methodology and provide input to tenders when required
  • Endorse standard processes where possible, limiting bespoke and manual processes
  • Responsible for ensuring that all project governance documentation is clearly updated and version controlled
  • Responsible for ensuring that all risks and issues identified are documented, managed and reported effectively throughout each project
  • Support the Head of Implementation in delivery of the team strategy by identifying, developing and delivering strategic objectives that generate value for the business and our clients
  • Follow and adhere to documented Business Controls to ensure all individual & departmental tasks are completed
  • Contribute to the overall success of the  Corporate Sales Centre through both personal performance and team spirit

 

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships and develop the trust of customers, colleagues and suppliers
  • Actively support the involvement and development of Implementation Executives, while providing clear direction and retaining responsibility for each project

 

Reporting & Systems (including Service Level Agreements - ‘SLAs’)

  • Meet all agreed SLA’s and Business Objectives
  • Ensure internal systems & project governance documents are updated with I-Stage changes for each implementation
  • Provide Head of Implementation with weekly status updates of each project, including escalated risks & issues where applicable

 

Delivering Great Service

  • Maintain a high level of service focus, ensuring  Service Style is adopted and supported at all times
  • Keep abreast of market conditions and specific industry and organisational changes

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to apply a systematic and structured approach using agreed project methodology
  • Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all business activities
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible approach when responding to the needs of internal and external customers
  • Able to take initiative and be proactive with all work activities
  • Able to demonstrate business awareness and  product knowledge
  • Experience of working as part of functional and virtual teams, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently.
  • Experience and working knowledge of  key operating systems i.e.: Q&O; Fleet Reporting; NOLS
  • Working knowledge of all core Microsoft applications
  • Demonstrate a professional approach in all work activities and client dealings
  • Experience of working in a challenging and fast paced working environment
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage pressure
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Experience of identifying, leading and coordinating virtual teams
  • Fluent in business English language - written and verbal.

 

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Accredited to Practitioner Level in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
  • Suitable industry qualification and experience
