JOB ROLE:
To provide senior leadership support to the Sales Director and New Business Sales Support and Implementation teams, with day to day management responsibility for all non-sales activity within the New Business department. This includes responsibility for the Business Development Executive team, tender response and bid function, sales database management and implementation/project management team.
This is a new role with the objective of becoming a senior leader of the New Business support functions. The successful candidate will continue to foster a culture of employee engagement, best practice and working with internal stakeholders to lead a world class sales support function.
The definition of success will naturally vary across each function and a key aspect will be to ensure that the newly created Business Development Executive function is a success. The role will drive sales demand for the Sales teams through a clear contact strategy designed in partnership with the marketing team. The BDE function will complement our existing bid and database functions to drive forward sales support.
