Our client is one of  the largest providers of LCVs to business in the UK. Services range from short term rental to long term strategic fleet solutions for large blue-chip household names.

 

Their 50,000 fleet comprises the full range of LCVs many of them built and liveried to our customers exact specifications.

 

As the market leader they are at the forefront of bringing green LCV fleet options to customers. Their fleet comprises Euro 6 compliant vehicles and increasingly electric LCVs.

They are seeking to recruit a number of knowledgeable and experienced E- Vehicle consultants. The role will be to consult and advise clients on all aspects and considerations when transitioning into E-LCVs.

Beyond advising clients on the most appropriate E-LCV for the task the role will cover financial impact analysis, charging and infrastructure considerations, optimisation of fleet mix and operating model for clients, property planning, personnel issues.

 

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 

  • To advise clients on the ideal electric solution for their business including vehicle and charging options.

 

  • To support clients with the execution of their requirements from initial inception through to implementation and provide ongoing support.

 

  • Source and provide market insight and trends which guide the business on its strategic direction and developments of the electric proposition.

 

  • Work alongside the operations and property functions to deliver and implement a charging infrastructure plan to support our electric charging capacity across the network.

 

  • Assess the demands of the market to inform our fleet and other service purchasing decisions.

 

 

 

 

Person Specification

 

Relevant Experience / Skills

 

Essential

 

  • Previous experience within Electric Vehicles / Energy and/or decarbonisation is a must

 

  • Previous experience within a sales / consultative environment

 

  • Excellent listening skills when dealing in B2B roles and great communication

 

  • A genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers

 

  • A completer finisher mentality with a want to understand the processes as a whole

 

  • A constant focus on looking to find ways to improve the product for both the customer and the business

 

  • A willingness to travel to branches and customer sites across the UK

 

  • Highly organised and motivated with good interpersonal and influencing skills both directly and cross-functionally

 

 

Desirable

 

  • Ideally you will have experience within fleet, leasing or selling a salary sacrifice product

 

  • Experience in large B2B sales-focused corporate business

 

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor to relevant audience

 

  • Numerate and highly analytical, able to prepare business cases and investment plans
