The purpose of your role is to:



This role will involve identifying, meeting and the successful conversion of corporate fleet prospects into new long term customers.  You will market the full suite of  products and services, looking to secure fully outsourced and sole supply fleet contracts.


Key responsibilities:


  1. Achieve and strive to exceed the sales targets and objectives as defined by the Commercial Director
  2. Act with honesty, courtesy, integrity and to the highest standards at all times, reflecting business values and strategies
  3. Establish strong relationships with prospects, building their trust in our capability and professionalism
  4. Develop individual presentations, proposals and quotations with extreme attention to detail, ensuring all communication is correctly branded and displayed in the highest quality format
  5. Work closely with the Commercial team and Senior Management before the submission of any pricing to prospects
  6. Provide reports and MI on your prospects lists, progress and any other data appropriate to provide transparency on your target prospects and conversion rates
  7. Ensuring all prospect data is up to date and accurate at all times
  8. Develop a detailed knowledge of all  products and services, together with all internal processes and procedures

We are looking for a confident, performance driven and highly experienced fleet Business Development Manager who can demonstrate high levels of experience in the successful identification and conversion of fleet prospects into long term customers. A highly motivated, personable and proactive individual looking for the opportunity to work within a family owned, billion pound turnover business with strong values and over 70 years’ experience and heritage in the motoring industry.  Characteristics / experience should include:


  • Excellent sales, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience of the UK Company Car and Automotive market
  • Energy and enthusiasm to identify and convert all opportunities
  • Ability to record all interaction with potential customers and update Management as appropriate
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and ‘winning’ mentality
  • Drive and determination to deliver the best quality customer proposals
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial ability
  • High quality customer centric approach to all aspects of the role
  • Be prepared to always go the extra mile
  • A full driving licence
